Remembering together

Memorial Wall.

A place to remember the people we love and lost to suicide. Every face here mattered, and every story is part of ours.

This wall started with the supporters of our Rocky Mountain Strong license plate, and it is open to anyone who has lost someone to suicide. Sharing is always your choice. There is no pressure, and every memorial is reviewed before it is posted.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988.

    1971-2025

My dad grew up in England, eventually moving here to Colorado for a big job opportunity with Visa. Growing up he learned to master guitar (taught by his brother). Soon he joined a band, was a professional baker, then raced cars and motorcycles (and won trophies!), then was a motorcycle instructor, a professional photographer, the founder of the Colorado Mazda club, a member of the mile high Jeep club (hobo patrol!), and soon enough had a full life with a full family. My dad endured a lot in his life, such as losing my older brother when he was only a few months old, but my parents were strong. He’d make the worst dad jokes, mess around in his music studio, play disc golf… never failed to make everyone laugh. His hugs were the safest, smiles the warmest, and laughs that would brighten any room. He left such a big imprint on so many people, always empathetic, and cared so deeply about those he loved. There’s so much I’ve learned from him that I’ll never forget, so many good memories that keep me warm. I hope whoever reads this finds inspiration from all he’s achieved just like I have, for he was an amazing dad. He struggled greatly with his mental health; it was rough sometimes, but he was worth every hardship. I miss you, I’ll always be your little girl. Rest in peace. I only wish we could have baked that pie together.

    In memory of Sky

    33

Sky was more than my childhood friend. He was family. We raised our nephews and niece together and supported one another when we made our own families. But I won’t act like this world was always sunshine and daisies for him but he always made it seem that way till the end. Unfortunately he lost the battle to himself. And I wish everyday he would have chased one more sunset, one more big fish, one more bike ride, just one more maybe tomorrow will be better. He was always on the move, I just never would have imagined he would never come back.

    1972 to 2018

My dad, Chris, was the funniest person I knew. He never failed to make me and other people around him laugh. He knew how to light up a room with joy. Though he lost his battle with depression, I know that he fought his hardest. I miss my best friend every day, but I know I am making him proud. I love you daddy 🫶🏼
