We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing (EIN 99-4094521), founded in 2024 and granted tax-exempt status in 2025. We are volunteer-run, and we keep our operating costs as low as we can so that gifts go to the work.

The Suicide Loss Memorial Foundation is a Colorado nonprofit corporation recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a public charity under section 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Financial transparency
We are a small, volunteer-run organization. We do not have paid staff, and we keep overhead low. Money that comes in goes straight to memorials, our youth program, the community garden, and the basic costs of running the foundation.
