Support for families after a suicide loss.

We help families in Weld County and across Colorado who have lost someone to suicide. We build lasting memorials in public places, and we put young people in rooms where they are not alone.

In crisis right now? Call or text 988. It's free, confidential, and available 24/7.

A note from the founder

Why this exists.

I lost my father to suicide in August of 2014. He was cremated and had no burial place, and I struggled with not having somewhere to go to feel close to him. In 2015 I raised money for a bench in the park where he took his walks. That bench became the thing I didn't know I needed.

The Suicide Loss Memorial Foundation is built around a simple idea: after a suicide, families need somewhere for grief to go, and young people who are struggling need somewhere to belong. That's what we build.
